I can’t believe it’s a year already

My last ride of the year was cancelled today, so having cleaned my bike instead, it gave me time to reflect. I can’t believe it was a year ago I started getting back on my bike and tentatively asking advice on here. I have gone from a person who thought I was doing well if I did 5 miles to my longest ride this year of 115 miles. I have trained and ridden Lands End to John O Groats unsupported. I have joined a local cycle club and made loads of new friends. I’ve just totalled up my mileage and 6093 miles for the year. I’ve gone from 0 bikes to 3. Mostly I just love riding my bike. Thank you for all the help, support and advice on here. I wish you all a happy and healthy new year. The cartoon attached sums it up for me
