i feel a bit bad…

…as i advised dd not to ride to school because it's pissing with rain. i didn't want her arriving soaked through in clothes she would be wearing all day, so i told her to walk with an umbrella.

can't help feeling slightly traitorous, but i'm sure she'd prefer to avoid a soaking…

Sensible, I think. The only reason I can get away with it, is I have a full change of clothes and a shower at work.

exactly. when i was commuting in all weathers it was just that that made it possible. dd doesn't have that option, so i sent her en pied.

she probably thinks i've had some sort of brain meltdown, advising against cycling…
