23c today and I took a mid-day ride. The sweat was pouring off me. I managed 18 miles in a tad over an hour, with about 800 feet of climbing. It was so so hot, and looks like there's more to come.

It's when you stop the buckets of sweat start, like a tap turning on on my forehead.

Quite unreal.

Nice to be in the sun though.

It's more the humidity that does me in.

I don't mind it too much but when I cycled in Thailand ( a few years ago) with a group with the temperature being something near 40'c in the sun I couldn't keep up the average speed of 22mph so I had to drop out, sadly.I get what the OP means here though. It's a bit uncomfortable getting to work all sweaty though.

I don't sweat much but I do get headachy probably due to lack of fluids and dehydration. I plan to head out over lunch tomorrow  would have ridden tonight but I'm waiting to give blood!

I'm another who doesn't enjoy the heat. that said, I paced myself today and the breeze coming from across the fields was pleasant, took the edge off it.

I always get a headache in the heat, although I seem to drink as much as my OH does when we're cycling.
