I have a bit of a tyre query

Did you include a set of these? I'd break at least one tyre lever every change until I got park tools (eventually binned the M+ as well )

I like the Bontrager Red tyre levers. I have at least 2 in every saddle bag, and they are the best that I have found. Even the dog can't kill a Bontrager Red
I did look at the Marathon Greens but went with the plus in the end. They are only tyres, I can always change them if I don't get on with them

I don't have any of my own, but I have used them. They are surprisingly good and more than sufficient to get M+s on/off. They seem to be about as good as regular levers have gotten. Other than that, it's special designs like the Crank Brothers or VAR tool.

Chatting with another cyclist this afternoon, that I bumped into at the cafe, and he has M+ on both his bikes and hasn't had a P for 2 years, 1 month and 4 days (not that he's counting) He has stopped carrying P repair kit, but I would never tempt the fairy quite that much.

That remains to be seen. They can be pretty hard to remove

(my last set of M+ I sat in the store I bought them from and tried to fit them. I managed to separate the wire bead from the tyre with my thumbs. Returned them and ordered a more amenable tyre. M+ was the only tyres in the correct size at the shop)

Hehehe, neither have I, in more than 5 years, on the bike fitted with the Originals.
I don't carry puncture repair kit (on short journeys only) because I know, in the remote event of a puncture, it will be quicker to walk home then to change a marathon

I hardly ever get them too, and I've been using M+ tyres on both bikes, and have for the last 6 years done 14,000km per year on the commuter bike, so plenty of opportunities for sharp things.

That poor XLS lives indoors, on his own rack that he doesn't share with any others and is probably fed up with not going out due to the vendetta that the fairy has on us. He will be delighted with new tyres.

Both tyres went on with a lot less fuss than our Gatorskins did. 10 minutes for the pair of them. We took them out for a quick spin to Bodmin town centre and back, so 13 miles and a bit. The roll really well and I am really chuffed with them
