I know most people here think as little of TD as I do...

Regardless of all the comments above and what people think of Traffic Droid, the driving and attitude of the taxi driver highlighted by the OP are fully deserving of some action by the police. Dangerous bullies like him have no place on the road.

That's irrelevant here - it's much easier to pour scorn and belittle TD than it is to challenge the ingrained attitudes and dangerous driving captured in the film.

He seemed to block the road in the first two minutes . I thought the car held back to let him go .
I guess idiots will just do what they do .

Lewis is what happens when policing fails i'm afraid, he's a symptom, all his cameras/lights are a symptom. He was told he wasn't bright enough when he got knocked off.

Each time he was told whatever bullshit reason they were going to use to ignore his camera footage (can't see the drivers face, can't see how close he was, etc etc) he added another camera to close that gap, hence pole cam etc

Now I see as you get NOTHING from the police when reporting after the event he's taken to showing the footage on a laptop straight away. See the way the witnesses are so keen to help the driver that's why you need the cameras, you think it's be any different if anyone else got knocked off?

It's the just the natural progression of being ignored but having just enough "wrong with you" to just keep on closing each gap.

I understand there's people here who disagree, that's fine I disagree with the presentation of this video I disagree with a lot of stuff he does. The whole incident should have been shown in full, holding off on the footage, serialising it makes it look like he's trying to get stuff for the channel to be honest.

it's not only easier but also more honest to challenge the ingrained attitude and stupid behaviour of the lot of them.

If you're going to spend your life highlighting utter twuntishness it's surely more effective if you don't behave like a twunt yourself?

That's pretty well said.

I agree with origamist, this isn't abut "knocking" td..for,me at least.

I genuinely feel he is a lost man and that your description of his progression toward his "lost ness" is very incisive.

I haven't, and shan't be watching the video, I am already aware that their are c@nts in the world, I need no further evidence.

I'd really like to go for a long ride with TD.

False equivalence dressed up as even-handedness.

Is it legal to post video's say of the other cyclist? Also to ride with that camera so far out in front?

I'm not even going to mention is riding, i feel sorry for him but these people do exist.
It's a public place, so nothing wrong with it.

As for the pole, we need to question what defines the limits of a bicycle, I.e. can you have anything sticking over the front wheel. and is there a law regarding the limits.

I suspect there isn't anything in general about it but it might fall under a general road fitness issue.

Why are the other bikes not having a problem with this taxi?

TD makes his own problems for his own films for his own publicity.

The amount of guys walking up to the taxi driver wanting to be his witness and TD still calls the police.

He is a total pratt.

We have no way of knowing how this taxi driver behaves - the OP shows him behaving like a dangerous bully and that was the reason for the thread being started - not for people to have a cheap shot at someone who clearly has issues. The driving was totally unacceptable regardless of what you think of TD's behaviour.

The "witness" was nowhere near the event. The cabbie deliberately aimed his cab at someone on a bike, I don't care if the cyclist was a serial kitten murderer, that was shocking driving, for zero gain too, the cabbie gained nothing, they were approaching red lights, absolutely no need.
