After months of anguished mulling over n+1 options I find myself increasingly drawn to a Shand Skinnymalinky, like an old seafarer hopelessly drawn to the cries of a mermaid. Hopefully not on rocks that will sink me. Anyway, back to Shand, what do we think ?

That looks like a lot of money for a bike that does not look like anything special.

Saw them at a bike show and chatted to the guys at Shane. Good bunch. The bikes look lovely. A friend is interested in one. I have no idea of prices but I recall they looked like some of the nicer bikes at the showit seems to me you (op) have already made up your mind but just need us to push you over the edge and I hope this thread does just that.

Pre congratulations going your way.

I had a look at their MTB's and I like 'em.
Seem to be well made ,but not surprising really.
What with them being built in a REAL engineering country!!!!!!
