Identifying a Claud Butler 531 Racer....

Hi guys ive got a Claud butler racer and i think its a 1949-53 bike. can anyone tell me more information about it? i have looked at the pictures and information and all information overlapps.

its got all smoothed out wellds and 531 tubing.

im thinking of doing it up and want a bit more information.

I've a similar vintage Holdsworth in 531 plain guage tubing. Lovely, bendy, but lovely!

You'll be able to date it from the frame number on the bb shell.
Most of the model names were on the top of top tube towards the head tube.
The stem is lovely. Does it say anything on it?
