Flats all the way. Fcuk those death traps.
Them's YOUR rules.I'd be so distraught, I'd go and buy a new car, and drive everywhere, rather than ride. NO CLIPLESS NO RIDE, them's the rules.
Each to our own but I feel safer in clipsFlats all the way. Fcuk those death traps.
Flats and discover IT MAKES NO DIFFERNCE like it did for me when I switched to clipless and back to flats over the last few years on my road bike.
I think that, to make that statistic true, you may possibly be using "road bike" to mean, not "road bike", but "the subset of road bikes that are ersatz racing bikes but are presented by cycling magazines as so normative that most of their users suppress the awareness that there are other sorts of road bikes"?Yet 98% of road bike cyclists use them (give or take).
Like I said.Them's YOUR rules.
Have you tried.......Flats all the way. Fcuk those death traps.
Now that's a good idea. Graeme is a top bloke, calls a spade a spade, gets on with it, holds 'heretical' opinions about certain aspects of cycling, doesn't care.View attachment 371547
Bolt the shoes to your pedals like Graeme Obree did for his Hour record on the 27 April 1994.![]()
I first saw that in 1970 when the Aussie track sprinter Gordon Johnston used them at the Leicester World Championships. It created quite a stir at the time. Now that's a good idea. Graeme is a top bloke, calls a spade a spade, gets on with it, holds 'heretical' opinions about certain aspects of cycling, doesn't care.
Yep, twice.Have you tried.......
Oh never mind.
