I was a bit put out yesterday when a colleague laughed when I said it was nearly 8 hours pedalling time. I thought 13.8 ave was decent over that distance esp as was 30 miles more than done before!

There were only 2 of us so no group advantage either

She has never done 100 miles but she is a very fit triathlete and marathon runner so I don't think I'll make that challenge!

Think you maybe rather fitter than me - I could barely move (and I don't think my nether regions would have thanked me), not to mention the massive thunderstorm here that crashed my Sky TV!

A recovery ride might have helped you had it not been for your other issue 'downstairs'.

And the pouring rain. All seems ok now, spinning on the exercise bike. Various stuff going on this week which will stop me cycling, even if it does dry out weather wise
