A thing is either unique, as in there's only one of it, or it's not. Instead it will be (Insert qualifier) rare.

'issues around' instead of 'problems with' (mustn't be too negative), and a new one the other morning on 'Today', 'learnings' as in 'what learnings do we gain from this' - from an expert in the field - it wasn't a mistake, obviously a trendy new term for 'lessons', or 'what do we learn from .....'

So much of today's world is "awesome".Lazy use of an adjective.
"Sick" when used to describe something which is very good. Quite often this seems to be used when the speaker has exhausted their use of "awesome".

I agree with the use of 'incident' - in particular in relation to road traffic incidents - as most of these aren't 'accidents' as they were avoidable.

at the risk of resurrecting an old argument, that isn't the meaning of "accident", albeit a politically correct new-speak definition of the word.
