If only we'd had a clear answer to whether we need to wave to other cyclists or not.
I'm not sure how to break this to you. You're actually pretty rubbish, worse than @potsy even.I come here when my confidence is a little bit low. It reminds me how much better I am than everyone else.
That's very nice of you, Shaun!Meeting @ColinJ when I was getting over a mastectomy and the ravaging the steroids did to me before the op. He was so patient and friendly and super patient. Meeting @Pennine-Paul who showed that age is no barrier to fixie fun.
Advice from @tubbycyclist..."just enjoy riding, speeds not important".

Being told about zippy-uppy overshoes which keep my feet warm while cycling. Also finding out about winter cycling boots - I'd never heard of them until the end of last winter, now I have a pair of them from @Easytigers. Warm feet for a couple of winters and even warmer feet this winter so far, has really helped my cycling along.
Numerous posts about how to tackle hills, servicing gears, sorting out tyres etc have really helped too, not to mention gps advice. I didn't buy a mio, but bought a Garmin due to advice read on here.
The only cyclechatter that I have met in person (to my knowledge) is @stephec
