I bought one of the 500ml Chilly Bottles last week and used it for the first time over the weekend. Old before my time, I took some tea along to the footie on Saturday afternoon. I don't know about 12 hours, but it was burning the bake off me a few hours down the line and still tasted like tea, unlike other flasks/bottles. To my shame, I haven't managed to bring it with me on the bike this week yet so don't know how tightly it'll sit in the cage.

Will you update when you use this one in the cage? Been thinking about one of these myself

I have a travel mug by emsa which is great. But I still put it in a pannier or rear bag. Wind chill will make anything go cold quickly regardless what it is in.

I use only Stanley flasks. Superb for keeping tea drinkably hot all weekend, but a bit crap for cycling unless you have pannier or a backpack. Some peoples Stanley are in daily uses, having been bought in the 1940s and passed down from generation to generation.
