Integrated headset removal

Is it possible to remove an integrated headset from my existing frame and re install it on a new frame? Or is it likely to get damaged on removal? Also do all new headsets come with compatible crown races? Thanks.

The answer depends on whether the new frame has the same headset requirement as the old. See this re different possibilities.

It is far less likely to damage an integrated headset during removal than e.g. conventional headset or crown races. Afaik all new headsets come with compatible crown races.

Ok so if the frames where the same, it would be possible to reuse the existing headset. But if not then buy new headset that fits new frame, and change the fork crown race with the one supplied. Sounds straight forward, but things rarely are lol.
