I'll be raising a large dram to my parents' dads tonight, both of whom died very recently. They were huge Burns aficionados, both being from Ayrshire (Dundonald and Troon). Both great men in different ways, and sorely missed.
Aye, good idea.
I 'lost' a family member recently.

Sacrilege to some, but the Veggie haggis went down a treat.

Maybe try it , but it'll need to be an occasion. Bit pricey for a run of the mill night out.
If they're not on Itison or 5pm etc its not on MrsD's list.

I've only been for occasions myself, and only twice, but it is well worth it. Beautiful interior as well.

Maybe time it for Celtic's next match at Partick?

Jeez, it'll be mentions of salad next;)
(apologies to /Scotland on Reddit)

I know a lot of meat eaters who don't like haggis , bit too fatty , but enjoy the Veggie version.
I never liked haggis when I ate meat, a very long time ago, but really like the veggie version

Ssh, I can't stand Haggis:laugh:

I live in Maryhill, so Byres rd is handy enough. Not really a bit of the city I visit that often though.
