These two statements are mutually exclusive, so which was it, sleep deprived Ed?
I've worked out what confused me. I discovered last month that a former colleague of mine from Dundee had logged efforts on a fair few of my local Strava segments while riding from MoG to JoG..

Phew. I'm not losing my mind (yet)
(he says, while talking to himself on a public forum)

Chapeau :bravo:Considered riding that road once and after turning *that* corner immediately thought better of it.
I'd two 'stepdowns', walked around 200 metres and took a couple of photos at the lochside on the flat section...
Thanks:smile:
I'd eaten a 12 piece Asda brekkie just 90 mins before I started.(you gotta pre-carb:ohmy:)
I started at Fort Augustus and I knew it was steep but the site of two white vans going up the hillside made me say a swearie..
a nice long downhill after it.
Doesn't go above 12% they say..
8 km long

I may have posted a thread.

This was my first CC Ecosse ride (all the way back in 1873, my, how time flies) and it was excellent.
