The bikes seem OK but not sure I'd go that far Some seemed a bit heavy, some had toothpaste welds... but probably nothing seriously wrong.

I think you're being a little harsh and a fair few Carrera and Boardman owners would probably disagree.

Nothing wrong with the car,but my point is future perceived value,I guarantee you after 3 years the Skoda will have lost more value percentage wise than an equivalent car with vw badge

I don't know about you, but I'm paid in pounds sterling, not percentage points of the value of a car. So what if the more expensive car loses less % - I have to pay in cash money, so least cash lost is what matters to me.

Cost per year owned is what matters to me, as the sale price of my cars is near enough zero, regardless of purchase price originally

The welds are smooth. Thought my son's was a carbon at first. Great bike in my opinion. Might get one myself.

Yes , apart from round the BB they are very smooth and you cant tell its not , a few mercia club riders have asked the same question of my 2012 road comp

I bought a Voodoo Marasa 24 month ago and being an awfy heavy (19st) punter I've clocked up 100ml short of 5,000ml on it and have taken it over trails, tarmac and green tracks... done a couple of spokes mind you. No problem with the bike or the service from Halfords Greenock..

Careful on that one, some VW 30% in 2011 whilst some Skoda 19%
