That's me too, you're either going up or you're going down, no extraordinarily long climbs, a fair few short sharp shockers if you want them, but whichever direction you go, you will soon start heading up whether you want to or not. I'm third on the CC strava club for elevation this week, of the two that have done more one has done nearly double my mileage and I believe the other is hill training.Very lumpy in west wales, it's about an avarage of 1000ft of climbing for every 10 miles no matter which direction you ride
Crikey! I do about 450ft in the last mile of my ride home!In a word, no. I live In St. Neots, Cambs where you could plot a route that does about 200 - 300 feet of climbing in 50 miles. It does get a little lumpier depending in which direction you go but you'd struggle to get 1,500 feet in the same distance.
I'll be up in Grasington over the grand depart weekend and it's a little different up there.
