A nice selection of terrain round my area. Plenty of hills to the south, plenty of flat(ish) to the north and a mixture to the east and west.
Deceptively rolling is how I would describe it. We have no 'proper hills' unless you count Gas Hill where the Gas Hill Gasp is run annually. People think that its as flat as a pancake here but it's not. Flat as a pancake is Lincolnshire, not Norfolk.
Crikey! I do about 450ft in the last mile of my ride home!
Anywhere else (such as Hebden Bridge) in a steep-sided valley! Is anywhere lumpier than Bradford? I live north on the Aire Valley, I can cycle 10 miles flattish to Leeds or 20 to Skipton, any deviation at all, from the valley, involves ball busting work.
