Is it ok to machine wash clothes,tea towels etc with Fairy liquid?

I use washing up liquid all the time, but only ever in very small quantities, otherwise you will indeed end up in a blizzard of foam. It probably helps that our water supply is very hard.

I've just emptied the washer. To my great surprise the chocolate stain has 99% vanished! So washing up liquid must work.

Rub the stain with white chocolate and it lifts right off in the wash.
