And to be honest it was a bit of a let down after reading the 2 books by Alastair Humphreys (moods of future joy & thunder & sunshine) .. his journey is from England to Beijing although the book seems to focus more on Pakistan ~ India & China rather than the European leg and he does moan alot during his travels and at times you feel like your reading the small print on an insurance policy but i did warm to the bloke towards the end of the book so it finished on a good note
