I walked out by the time we got to which type of bread, fark me it is confusing, eat fresh how do they get away with that. It is all in tubs straight out of the fridge!

The three nearest one's to me are in petrol stations, so not only do they have their own particular off putting smell, there is the background aroma of diesel.

Perhaps if someone brought me one in a nice summer meadow I would give it an honest go, but just getting within 20 yards of the places put me off.

The first time I had a Subway was in the late 70s or early 80s. A salt beef submarine in Canada. I was in heaven, absolutely loved it.

Doesn't have the same appeal these days though, not sure my taste has changed or the subway has changed. Maybe both. I still like, but not as much as I once did.
