I love knogg lights, they're so cute and funky. I have a little one with a loveheart as a second light on the front and it makes me smile.
I have a more substantial, less funky, knogg for the rear too, but I need a "proper" front light now.
Is a knogg good enough? I'm only riding on well lit roads, rarely before 8am or after 5pm,
Am I being swayed by the pretty colours , should I be buying a more serious lezyne or cateye -which I can get just as good a deal on currently?

On lit roads, a Knog should be fine.

Depending on what you're spending, a proper "road" light might be more useful to supplement a front flasher - a B&M Ixon, perhaps? The beam is shaped so that it has a cut off at the top, making you less likely to dazzle other road users. If you do buy the more standard/readily available (in the UK at least) lights with flood type beams, please be careful to angle them downwards so that you don't destroy other people's night vision

Type CR2032 into Ebay and you will find a multitude of cheap suppliers.

The one I've seen is rechargeable, but I do agree about the batteries.
I've got £50 on a halfords gift card, so my options are limited.

And the rubber fastenings are well known to snap.
That happened to me - it broke within 2 hours of fitting to the seat post and never got to venture outside. However I glad it failed when it did rather than leave me blissfully unaware my back light had disappeared whilst out on the road in the dark.

Nice to look at, but crap design and materials. For the money, there are far better manufacturer out there
