But... I have not got any LEDs on when mine malfunctions.

Can't get it to work at all today. Have to conclude it's probably shite......

The only time mine doesn't work properly is when I use my lights. Do you have anything else that might affect it, like a HRM or where do you carry your mobile phone?

Used mine again today and it was fine.

I'll know when I ride into work tomorrow, late start, and I'll keep all the lights off!

I rode home the other night and discovered that my Max speed was showing 73.6mph.

Success , the sudden leap in max speed problem is definitely outside interference. I was riding my usual route this afternoon, no lights on, when the speed suddenly jumped to 38mph.
I got off and walked back along the pavement. There was a very sharply defined stretch of about 25 yards where my walking speed jumped from 3 mph to 38mph within four feet or so.
I was expecting to see a dodgy mini cab office in the vicinity or something similar but it was just a normal length of high street shops etc. No obvious aerials either.
Uxbridge Road, West Ealing if anyone wants to try their computer.

I wonder what other electronic devices could be affected?

Thought I should report back on the shoes.

On day 3 of using my shiny Lidl shoes the metal ring thing that the velcro strap goes through bent and came off thanks to its brie-like properties. I've squished it back in with pliers but this bodes ill for the longevity of these shoes. Ah well...

so far mine's affected by WiFi router (76mph), blackberry in chest pocket of waterproof when leaning on drops (70mph) and appears to go wrong when going along main road where local HT cables are buried (43mph - goes back to normal as soon as i turn off rd)

pretty useless really.

I'll keep an eye on it next time I ride into work. I've been working from another office this week, so haven't been able to cycle in. I go past at least two parades of shops and a fire station, so know what to look out for.
