Picked up my first set of cycle shoes at the weekend from Lidl for £14.99.
I have still got to get some SPD pedals (i have some double sided ones which i have never used with SPD's on my MTB), think i will get some Shimano 520's for the commuter.
even though i'm just on flats (toe clips) the difference is massive, pedalling is so much more efficient with a rigid sole and i cannot wait to feel the full effect when clipped in.
If you have never tried cycling shoes then do it - right now
I just wish my local store had more left in my size as i got the last one, i would go back and get a spare set if they did!!
