I and a friend have hired a van to travel from Whaley Bridge in Derbyshire down to Penzance on the 11th September 2013. We will go by Macclesfield and then down the M6 and M5.
We have a spare seat and room for another bike if anyone would like a lift for a contribution to petrol.
We will be cycling from Lands End to Bristol as a first stage.

We are following sustrans trails. Longer but around some of the hills.
As we live in the Peak District we are used to a few lumps of our own.
If we survive this leg then we might carry on next year.

Sept 2013 Lands End to Bristol and last year we did Bristol to Preston in April and then had glorious September weather for Preston to Edinburgh.
870+ miles done already following Sustrans routes. May we will finish Edinburgh to John O Groats. Train Warrington to Edinburgh and then a Skoda Octavia from Wick airport(Europecar) back to home in the Peak District. Likely distance will be about 1250 miles in total.

Yes that was in 2013 so no the lift is not still available. Edinburgh upwards is the next and final leg and no lift available as travelling up by train and coming back by car
