They are very good. Batteries can be a bit crap but cheap to replace if they do give up.

Attach via a rubber band - not had a problem myself with these. Could always bodge another light's mount if you so desire. The 872 is the brightest. Hope it's for off road - run on low and pointed to the ground if on road - they are very bright.

I've got 2 x 818 rears and a 808E.

Not a bad UK price that btw.

Worth getting an upgraded battery?

No point buying a standard, running it dead then having to buy replacement at £65

Can get the higher spec replacement instead of the standard for £31 extra.

What do you expect to get from this light? The lens on this light is not clear and thus it diffracts the light a lot, meaning you don't get a strong centre spot. Essentially it is a flood light, which means it isn't the best light to be using on the road.
