Couldn't agree more, but saying that after the first 10mins I was thinking WTF! But after I'd adjusted the film totally blew me away... Gonna have to dig the DVD out now...

I quite liked it when it first came out on tv but would not go for the film or tv repeats and certainly not worth going for a DVD of it.

It is like a lot of american stuff that when it comes along it is on at the right time to sit down and watch but then after when you see a repeat you think "well nothing is actually happening"

I'm staggered that any of you blokes actually thought it would be worth watching. When asked by Mrs R if I would like to see it, I indicated that I would prefer to stay at home, disembowl my own intestines with a rusty spoon, and then stick them on the barbecue. Mrs R went to see it with her mum, and so our marriage remains a happy one.

Though I did like Moulin Rouge...
