I'm off on hols soon and wife has said I need one of these. I've had a look around and I'm wondering if it would be better to get a smaller type courier bag and kill two birds. Anyone got any experience of either and best source? I don't want it too big, but enough for the usual detritus. It will be in addition to, not instead of, hand luggage on a plane (well women get away with it, why not men...........)

I think it's because I use her as a camel that she wants me to have one (no ships of the desert jokes here please ).

(Safe for work, but a bit worrying )

I've got one:biggrin:

Bought for £15 in River Island. Very handy and had brass neck attachment too. I wear it with pride. If anyone threatens my manliness, I ensure I carry a porn mag in it so I can whip it out  and beat any nay-sayer round the chops with it.

Take the plunge Chris!

I wish more men would use them. There's no worse look than a guy who's stuffed loads of, um, stuff in his pockets.

Do you find you walk with a bit of a skip when wearing it ?

Apart from keys, wallet and phone surely there is nothing else to worry about carrying ? It would be a cold day in hell before I would ever go out with a "man bag". It's just not right !

I don't understand why:

1. you don't just call them 'bags'; and,
2. anyone has a problem with carrying a bag.

What is the reluctance supposed to imply? That you are too macho to do the shopping? Or that you've got servants to carry things for you?

It's a slippery slope, before you know it you will start shaving your legs and applying moistouriser before your ride.
