I believe these are compatible with normal clincher and tubular tyres, however there are conflicting reports that they can’t take clinchers ? Can anyone confirm who uses them ?
I think Mavic maybe try and sell the idea that they are best with their own tyres but from any googling I have done, it appears there is no necessity for this.I guess that’s answered the question 😄

Good wheels, Rubbish tyres.I think Mavic maybe try and sell the idea that they are best with their own tyres but from any googling I have done, it appears there is no necessity for this.
My Ribble came with them and I took them off and pjt Rubino Pros on instead. The Mavic tyres were a bugger to remove they were so tight.Good wheels, Rubbish tyres.
I found Mavic tyres ok for a month or so, then it was puncture after puncture.i rode with some Mavic tyres on hire bike - I was just manoeuvring out of the gate of the hire depot and the rear punctured.
The front punctured about half way round a 45mile route. I had to change that tube myself
I resolved never to buy a Mavic tyre.
