I have a couple of Oxford bottle holders that on closer inspection appear to be made from three parts. The frame that holds the cage to the bike, the top back bit of the cage, in essence a narrow U shape and the part that suports the bottle. The U shape and the bottle support just appear to be pushed into the mount and possibly crimped.
Over the years they have gone slack (dont we all) and now when I put full bottles in they chatter and annoy me. Ive tried epoxying up the fitment with limited success.
Given the bike gets used for all sorts, commuting, exersize, fun runs upto 100miles and hauling a trailer I am not after super expensive or too bothered about weight. I am however bothered about function, rattleless and VFM (that means I don't mind paying more for a better product).
The bottles I tend to use are SIS 750ml bottles.
Has anyone any experience with Tortec holders?

The cage appears to be all one limiting the potential for rattles.
