Considering that metric units were originally the idea of a guy from Oxford, I do find the nationalistic defence of the imperial system rather silly.
Roman miles...(1481m)Do we mean the international mile, the metric mile, the US mile, the Scottish mile, the Irish mile or is there another mile?
Data Mile, or Tactical mile, 6,000 ft, as opposed to 6077 or thereabouts of the nautical mile, which is one minute of arc. Nautical mile varies a bit by the poles as opposed the equator.Do we mean the international mile, the metric mile, the US mile, the Scottish mile, the Irish mile or is there another mile?
It'd be the shortest mile at the poles though!Data Mile, or Tactical mile, 6,000 ft, as opposed to 6077 or thereabouts of the nautical mile, which is one minute of arc. Nautical mile varies a bit by the poles as opposed the equator.
You can't just leave it there!I'll just leave this here...
