Just had 2 warmed up and smothered with thick brandy cream for breakfast after a 2hr night shift... :mrpig:

Been in baking mode for a few weeks. These ended up with Mrs 73 for a friend. Always bring back memories making them. Watching and learning from my mum then making them together. Plus always love using my Grandmothers bowl and tins. New tins just don’t have same feel or quality.
Must be going well 5 jars of mincemeat down and counting most ended up in the pies :whistle: 497246

Having to avoid gluten they do make a pretty cheap dessert, even at the price of gf ones, compared to other gf puddings so a fair number scoffed so far with only two dozen left, might need some more^_^

Sorry to say none have made it home from the supermarket.Mrs P has diabetes,and is keeping it under control aswell as keeping me under control.Hardly any sweet stuff coming in.So much so i am sneaking it in a bar at a time.

I had two last night with brandy butter. I think brandy cream is nicer.

We have a friend called Pam who is an excellent baker and a very generous soul. She made about 20 for us (well, me,actually)

We have another friend called Pam so this Pam is called "Cakey Pam"
