i hate it when people mispronunciounciate things.

a particularly common one is "Shwalbee" tyres. come on, it's got to be "Shvalba" surely?

in halfords recently a bloke came up to me and pointed at my bike and said "that's a Giant Deefee isn't it?" and then proceeded to follow me around discussing how good Deefees are.

grrr!

i also hate it when people don't use capitals at the start of sentences.

I pronounce Schwalbe as "sidewall cracking rubbish."

I don't know anyone who pronounces it any other way.

The correct pronounciation, as any Swedish person will tell you, is "Eekayah".

People who pronounce Ikea as "Eye-kea"

I hate it when people spell Ikea like that

IKEA — an acronym for Ingvar Kamprad (the founder), Elmtaryd (the farm in which he grew up) and Agunnaryd (the village in which he grew up)
