Montane Featherlite Gilet Sizing?

Hi,

I'm after a hi-viz gilet for the summer commute - this is the cheapest I could find so far, any idea what they are like for sizing? I'm usually fine in a small men's, just wondered if the montane sizing is pretty standard...

I currently wear a size Medium Endura Convert 2 which converts from a jacket into a gilet, but can be a bit warm on a really sunny day and I looked at the Montane Featherlite Smock as a water proof for when its too warm for the endura. When I tried a Medium it was a bit small but the retailer didnt have a Large to try but if it's any help the Cotswold stores --> http://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com local to me stock the smock version of this so if you have one locally it maybe worth a look in to guage the size.

If you do get one let me know how the sizing is as I may get one myself.

Of course the other option is just to order a couple of sizes from Chain Reaction and send back the one that doesnt fit I do this all the time and I have never had any problems with the refund process, and the return postage wont be very much as the Montane stuff weights amost nothing.

Check out your local TK Maxx. I found mine in there about 3-4 weeks ago £16.99! I normally take a XL in jerseys and the L fits me.

Well, I tried the smock on in cotswolds, unfortunatley they only had a medium, but no small. The medium seemed slightly large, so I think I'm going to go for small and hopefully it should fit (although a check of TKMaxx first might be worth doing).

Small arrived, fits great!!!!

I got the medium just arrived and it fits, comes down further at the back and covers my arse more than my Endura Convert

I look forward to trying it outside if the wind and rain ever stops
