Warm some olive oil and put it in your earn using a pippette like you get in something like earex. Leave it for 15 mins then using a tissue clean your ear. If that doesn't work, go to your Dr.

Add some bread for it to dip in the Olive Oil and munch on too!! By the time it comes out it won't care much!!

Be careful though. Don't poke and prod around to much as the ear is very delicate.

I was told that you shine a torch in, and the insect, attracted to the light, makes its way out.
Possible works best with moths at night, if it works at all.
Probably doesn't work after you've drowned the insect in olive oil and squashed it with a cotton bud.
