I've had my half a bottle limit of Crianza tonight... but if say a Macallan was to appear by the miracle of interweb bonhommie, it would be churlish not to join you and 'tif in a nightcap to wash down the crisps.

I love these! And oysters, octopus, squid and black pudding. And tongue. Tripe I can take or leave, but I feel obliged to eat a bit of offal now and again. And hell, if you had all of them you'd have the beginnings of the famous Salade Crankarme!

Yuk. Some offal I enjoy, such as liver and kidneys. heck I've even had sliced bulls' testicles, duck feet and hen feet in a Chinese restaurant and they were *tasty* but those others are vomit-inducing.

I just feel bad when eating octopus, notwithstanding their tastiness. They have a curious position under certain aspects of UK law - being treated as "honorary vertebrates".
