The new bike will definitely need crosslevers - but the grace of God I didn't get squashed tonight - I wouldn't have stopped before someone decided to left hook me on a roundabout without them

When did it become ok to turn left off a roundabout from the right hand lane ffs :cursing:

Yeah, everyone drives like a nobber between Sutton and Morden. Nomadski lives just off that roundabout so we see it a lot there. Were you coming back to Sutton?

Going from Epsom to Morden and then to Sutton. I had come down Central Road, left onto roundabout (was a bit sneaky but it was rammed). I was well left, to go left down towards Mitcham when some bint in a Galaxy tried to turn left through me towards Morden. In that traffic, I wanted to stay left as that is quite a tight turn and I didn't want to be in all the traffic

I have to say, I really don't like riding in the dark even with a Night Vision yellow jacket, lights, helmet with hi vis bits and also on clothing. Stupid cow either didn't look or didn't care. Somehow managed to brake, unclip one foot and not topple over (I would have got more squashed if I had fallen  )

I always say that a ride through London rush hour traffic feels like wrestling a bear or landing an aircraft for the first time. Exhilarating and scary but if you walk away able to do it again you're a winner.

Well with the new job, I'll have much opportunity! Will do on a flat bar, disc brakes and flat pedals!
