Most depressing product in a supermarket?

I just checked the ingredients of the one in my freezer. 99% cheese, less than 1% potato starch. I'm ok with that. No natamycin or cellulose.

I prefer to read actual ingredient lists than scare articles on the internet.

To be fair, I wouldn't have been surprised if I was convinced I had made a mistake with this product, I don't buy too many processed food for my home cupboard, but this choice seems to be ok.

It's a marketing opportunity.

The pulp and starch will be better for you than the cheese.

Eat shredded cheddar - the healthy option.

Period pads. And if that ain't depressing enough they bloody add VAT to them. Like we have a choice!

Nice to see supermarkets cater for teachers.

The most depressing site I've seen in a supermarket is the empty space where the bottle of Glenfiddich 15 year old distillery edition used to be. I always promised I'd buy it but the OH always said it was too expensive, even when it went down to £40.

Christmas cards already... not a supermarket but spotted some in a card shop by the entrance this week. Still more than a third of a year to go!
British Heart Foundation in Carlisle had a stand displaying Christmas cards in mid-July.Tell you what is depressing though, little trays of ready mashed potato at £1.50 a pop.Food for the feckless, mind you,if theyre that incapable, charge them double I say!
