and a double for plastic-wrapping something with its own thick skin (Morrisons famously used to tray and shrinkwrap bananas), but most fresh products are depressing in supermarkets. Buy from open markets instead!

It makes me said that hot cross buns are now 52 weeks a year. Take of the crosses for 51 of those weeks.

Are they selling easter eggs now or just chocolate eggs?

Grated cheese.

Confess to buying that. I find cheese very moorish, even when I am not hungry. So I buy grated cheese for pizza/toasty topping put it straight in the freezer. It sprinkles out nicely, and it doesn't tempt me at all for snacking. It does tempt me to make a cheese on toast, but at least that's cooking, and hopefully I won't go to that effort unless I'm hungry. Or sad. Or happy.
