I took a long weekend off work and ended up with this morning completely free, the temperatures were perfect so I decided to get out and do my Oxford - Bibury - Faringdon- Oxford loop, about 70 miles which includes some of my favourite roads, the B4425 from Burford to Bibury and the fast free flowing A417 from Letchlade to Faringdon.

I stopped off at The Classic Motor Hub at Bibury

That's a nice ride - I like those roads too. You're lucky you didn't want to cross the Thames at Lechlade; the bridge took an impact recently from an alleged drink-driver and is closed indefinitely.

Started work on my Sports Cub this morning, drained the stale fuel and filled it with fresh petrol, but the bugger wouldn‘t Start, we’ve diagnosed it as a knackered coil, so I’ll replace it together with a new HT lead and plug. But I did fit the new rubber knee pads!

As stated above, SWMBO & myself were in the Isle Of Man between Monday 17th & Tuesday 21st

Also, as above, we'd booked the 'TT Trike Tour' for the Thursday
Here's a few pics

Any sort of high speed around the IoM must take some bottle, but I'd bet those sidecars are scary.

Would love to do a circuit of that, even on a small bike.

It gave a lot more appreciation of it, being out on the course, even at normal road-speeds, seeing how tight some corners were/how narrow some sections were - between walls

He didn’t go overly fast in the derestricted areas, maybe 70-80MPH, but when sat so high, in the slipstream, rather than behind a fairing, it feels a lot faster!

Have you not got the bug now to do your bike test?

A mate managed to get this running properly for me. A combination of mixture adjustment and replacing the bloody awful cheap air filter with a slightly less bloody awful air filter. It's such a laugh to ride and there's now no excuse not to try green-laning on it.
