Moustache Problem

Tell him it goes best with a beard, works even better to accentuate the cheeks. He'll grow one, his wife wil soon get fed up and people will say it makes him look older and he'l be forced to have a rethink and shave it off.

Or, tell him they're very popular in that haven of style and fashion hotspot, Bavaria and it makes him look very Bavarian, that should do it.

A friend of mine has had a tache for most of the 22 yrs I've known him... it kind of defines him too... he shaved it off once, and looked so odd that people urged him to grow it back.

They seem to be far more popular in the USofA than here, I reckon...

A friend of mine once grew a long beard that his mother didn't approve of. One evening, he fell asleep watching TV and she used the oppurtunity to take a few snips out of it with the scissors so he was forced to shave it.

As someone who has not had a bare upper lip since 1973 or a bare chin since 1976 it always amazes me that people (Mostly, but not exclusively, men.) shave. Last time a bloke asked me why I grew a beard I turned it round and asked him why he didn't. The puzzled look was priceless and I was forced to explain that he could 'grow a beard' if he stopped scraping his face every morning.

Mrs byegad has never seen me without a beard and I'm under strict orders not to shave it off. Not that I would.
