Miserable day. Post WAH the carcass of a twin pair of drawers for a wardrobe bottom put together. Delivered by Argos this afternoon. Dinner then tackle the drawers.

Drawers assembled
Only snag was I had put two runners on the carcass back to front but as the base is not solid that was easilly corrected.
Bigger snag is the bottom drawer is too low and hits the track of the sliding wardrobe doors. Time to dig out some old place mats.

Another grey day

a new bin that i did not order appeared on the doorstep so i rang the council and someone ordered it with a fake name and number, this is an ongoing saga with the neighbour receiving 14! ordered in my name .The police are involved but cant do much,
in other news im spending ages on hold chasing my new claim on private health to get knee looked at.

Can't the council do the simple thing, put a note on bins ordered for in your name not be actioned?

I must stop making hot drinks and forgetting about them - that's two today with the latest being the hot chocolate needing to be re-nuked. Admittedly the earlier coffee wasn't so much forgotten about, but cooled down while I had an accidental snooze.

A mostly grey day, but there were a couple of short periods of sunshine when it got pleasantly warm for a few minutes. There may also have been a little bit of fine drizzle this evening as the path was reflecting the street lighting.

All necessities were done during the day leaving just a visit to Dad to do tomorrow. At some point over the next couple of days, I must work out the walking routes from train station to hotel & hotel to venue ahead of Thursday's away day as it's a hotel & venue I've never been to before.

I decided against climbing Croagh Patrick this morning. It's not easy and I haven't done a huge amount of hiking since shattered my ankle. I should probably work my way up to it.

I did have a very relaxing morning walking around the grounds of Westport House and the Quay.
