Cold feeling afternoon. Shirts dragged in still damp and hung on the open steps of the staircase.
This weeks TV guide sudoku made up for last weeks with the number for the requisite square only being known with two squares needong completing.

Void of phone! My wife's friend who is in her 80's has just upgraded to broad beans , she used to have a BT land line. Now she has nothing. The peeps who connected her up said that they weren't allowed to do internal stuff so she now hasn't got a landline or broadband. My wife was worried the other day because she hadn't turned up at the museum like she said. My wife couldn't phone her and couldn't get in because the silly old woman had left the key in the lock. We were about to call the police because we were worried about when she eventually turned up. Over a year ago she broke her ankle and couldn't move. My wife stayed with her whilst she waited for an ambulance. It was the morning before an ambulance arrived. Because of that her stay in hospital was much longer due to the fact she had been on the floor all night.
