Morning all, I'd like to give a weather update, but I can't see what it's like due to the thick mist that's suddenly formed. Hopefully it will clear soon as I'm setting off for Kent in less than half an hour.

Yesterday I went out shopping on my bike, without my hat.

I hate weekends apart from very early. My afternoon walk yesterday involved meeting families and groups walking side by side that wouldn't bloody budge to let you past. Even coming home walking on a narrow pavement, I was always the one that had to step off onto the road to let them past. I bloody hate ignorance and lack of courtesy.

Had a 10k run setting out before 6am this morning in lovely peace and quiet. Hard work, but enjoyed it.

Toothache A whole day to wait until I know how much I do have to wait for a dental appointment. 12 paracetamols left, how many more will be needed...

Re the stuck derailleur hanger bolts decided to order a left hand thread drill which should hopefully get them out without any more normal drilling. Need one full size to know what length to get.

There's one or two routes out of Stuttgart that seem to attract Mercedes drivers when they go for the annual bike ride in summer. I've ben snarled at by pedestrians on shared use paths because they've just been passed by a boorish lycra lout and think I'm with "those idiots".

I discovered that after about 5km from the car part the Mercedes Cyclists seem to evaporate, so I time rides to be well past that point (usually marked by the first hill) before they wake up.

Today, so far, I've washed the car checked tyre pressures oil screenwash etc., swept and de-weeded the front path. Cleaned the windows and walked the 🐶. Hoed the flower beds and am about to mow the lawn....

Oh, and I've cleaned my trainers, too.

Who said Sunday was a day of rest!? I want my money back!

Same here,

Bike ride, wash bike, then wash me, muddy stuff in washer. Cut grass, go to tip with rubbish, do a shop, hang washing, pre sunday lunch, now time to sit down wth a Leffe and Mandalorian.

Yesterday was as mad, up early, two cars washed and vacced, trip to hombase for concrete, section of floor then leveled, 80 mile return trip to collect bike, 6-7 hours working on bike, pop to shop, get some food, sit down then realise it's nearly midnight !
