I fell over in the street today. Not sure I tripped on anything but one minute upright the next blam, floor. Bruises in a couple of places and my shoulder is telling me it doesn't appreciate meeting the ground at speed.

Can mind my own business, but.

Has it happened before?

Has it been progressively worse?

How much warning did you get?

Look up dizzy and Brandt Daroff manoeuvre.
Wonder how I know this.

Worked for me.

See a doctor if you can. Hear they are taking bookings for the New Year. Just not clear which one.

And it is hanging just above head height which makes it more difficult. Could have taken it down but could not be bothered.
My living room has been described by some as like a picture gallery. Not all are mine and many have sentimental attachments since they were done by some of my artist friends.

the best spot in our home, to photo a photo, is with natural daylight, under a skylight, on an overcast day, or when the sun has moved, so it is not directly overhead. there's a space on our top floor, where the architecture creates a kind of 3 sided light box studio. hard to describe but a photo would be helpful, if I can find one. regardless, if I angle the photo just right, it has even, diffused illumination w/o any glare, even under glass. anything curved, has to have it's corners taped down, on a rigid board. nothing convenient about it tho, because in order to get the camera situated just right, especially for a series of dis-similar photos, one has to lie on their belly, supported by elbows. it's perfect for the photography, not so much for olecranon bursitis!

found a video frame that shows the spot. which is also very good to over-winter palm plants & restart last years tubers

Don't surprise me once spotted someone going the same thing on the floor of a shopping centre. Feet away from the baby changing room.

A woman took her dog into the cafeteria on the MV Isle of Mull. Not only is this forbidden and plainly marked so but she then sat it on one of the tables. A staff member challenged her and she was very rude and threatened to report the the staff member to the personnel manager. In those days I had lots of dealings with MacBrayne and gave my business card to the girl and told her if it went further I would support her as I knew the managing director. Woman flounced off and nothing more was heard of the matter.

Good for you.

Wind has got up somewhat. Managed to extract the stuck derailleur hanger bolts with the left handed drill working fine on the the one I had not tried to drill out at the weekend but it never grabbed on the partly drilled out one so that was a case of drill through to the hanger. New hanger had new bolts with it; got the rear mech and chain refitted by which I time the wind had won and the bike back in the shed before any further tweeking.

Had a lovely luncheon of filet americain on toast, followed by an apple, a Lane Late orange, some raspberries and two :cuppa:

Finished fettling the mower. Took off all the new parts (I fitted them each time a new bit came as it's easier to remember then as to what bit goes where), thoroughly greased all the threads, and then re-assembled the front end and torqued all the bolts down. I also had to re-inflate the tyres somewhat - my Joe Blow track pump is much nicer to use than the foot pump.

Mower started with the first turn of the key, so I figured as I needed to check everything anyways, I could just as well cut the grass around the house. Was lovely in the sun, but by heck that breeze was cold. And in the shade, it was positively glacial.

Nice to report that everything now works as it should, but there is some slack in the steering, so need to take a spanner to the adjuster on the steering arm.

Now thawing out with a hot :cuppa: and a 2 finger kit kat. Am also watching the snooker.

We use those at work: lovely pumps they are too.
