It’s utterly lovely here, clear and crisp. Planning a short bike ride. It looks like an ice cream kind of day.

Garden birds have been fed and a group of starling's are lining up on the garden fence but not made the move as a couple of pigeons have landed first

Cheese supplies purchased at Airport (Schiphol). Much cheaper than in Amsterdam. MrsF treated herself to a very nice bottle of brandy.

Turned to cloud here, but no rain on the radar. I have some garden shredding to do.

A mostly sunny but somewhat nippy day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, and spent the morning with a dear friend and her two dogs having a lovely walk around the community orchard and local nature reserve. Fabby to see all the apple blossom coming up, here's hoping for a decent crop. My idea of going Wassailing in the orchard over the winter went down like a lead balloon...

I shall make a batch of soup this afternoon, as I have noticed that some of the sweet potatoes have a couple of dings and dents on them. So will probably add some carrots and red lentils and go down a thai-ish route.

Anyways, it is time for luncheon.

I rode my bike for the first time in two months. Lovely, though definitely colder than I expected and I felt it in my quads for a km or 2 (I’m blaming last nights swimming rather than being massively out of practice ). The mister had physio again and is still banned from running and high impact exercise. He can walk, bike or swim, so I expect we’ll do a few of those together over the next few weeks.

One of my orders due tomorrow has just arrived earlier than the one that is due today. So looks like Charlie will be having his ears cleaned sooner than he was hoping.
Lovely sunny day still a chill in the air from a cold wind. Few jobs to do in the house then time to clean the van following our weekend away.
