I'm having problems getting my prescription!
I dropped off a repeat one 2 weeks ago . I went to collect it from the chemists on Monday. They hadn't received it . I thought it was probably delayed . I went in again to the doctor's on Wednesday and they said they would speed it through . I went in to collect it today. I picked up my prescription but they hadn't done the important ones ! It will now be the 5th trip up there !

Warm but drizzly here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept OK-ish. Really struggling with hayfever this morning despite having taken antihistamines. Elderberries are starting to flower, and those are my major trigger. Have spent the morning sneezing, blowing my nose and going back through research material to make sure I've not overlooked anything. Just as well, as I've found some extra references that slipped through the net.

Am not going to have much sympathy for the people who moan that there's not much material out there regarding this particular race car - I've put everything I've found in one place, including all the peripheral information, and it actually adds up to a surprising amount. The hard bit has been collating stuff, identifying it and then putting it into chronological order. Answering all the "whys" and "wherefores" has been the much more part difficult bit since direct questions aren't always an option. But I'm luckier than most, having an extensive personal archive and library - and a good friend with an even bigger one than me! I've also found a stock car historian with access to a lot of results and stats, but we're now discovering holes in his data, so some things I can't quite prove, and I need to look elsewhere.

There is a six month gap in my timeline where I can't find anything at all, and that's probably because the car wasn't being raced (I've more or less established that) and was sitting in a garage waiting to be sold.

Anyways, this afternoon I shall tootle into town to acquire a new toaster.

But first, it is time for luncheon. And it is ham time for the girls.

Good morning all from a dull & overcast Suffolk - the radar is showing that it's raining, but it isn't. At some point this morning I need to get out and get the supplies for the weekend as I'm at Snetterton (again) for the BTCC which is having its annual visit a couple of months earlier than last year. What happens this afternoon will be decided once I get back and have another cuppa.

Next year's BTCC calendar was released the other day, and the Snett meeting is in May again.

Same here, building everywhere theres space, they've recently started building on a nearby allotment, and had to demolish a pair of houses in the road next to us for access, that road is choka at peak times and will be worse once the estate is built.

Well our Venga passed its MOT with 2 adversaries.
I went to see the road at Lyneham Banks. A landslide had blocked the road so I cycled along to have a look at it . It is no more! The hill has slumped and taken a whole section of the road with it . Pictures have shown the road twisted a bit like the suspension bridge which destroyed itself frozen in time . The road is missing apart from a few sections of tarmac not where they should be . I was amazed by the cross section of the tarmac layers going down 6 feet! I know the area was prone to land slips but to see that depth of tarmac!
I waited in that area as it was nice and peaceful with birds singing away . I saw a male Bullfinch! I haven't seen one for years .
What did it take on to pass?

We've lost over 15 different areas of fields around us. The last large area of fields near us, about 10% of the total borough greenbelt is set to go to build 5200 house. In effect it's a new village they want to build.
As for Drs ect I ask when they wanted to build at the back of us and was told by planning it's not part of the planning process.
