Very good days racing thank you. Arrived just as the first race started (how is it possible to leave home late having woken up 90 minutes before the planned leaving time), left just after the last race finished and was home just over an hour later. Walked about 6 miles to watch from various points and froze in the wind at all of them despite occasonal sunshine.

Glad you had fun. Do you know why the red flag came out in the second Mini race? There was nothing on the TV coverage except a few shots of a very winded looking driver being sat down behind the barriers by the marshals.

I consider 90 mins ample time to get stuff sorted without rushing between waking up and leaving the house. Although admittedly all gubbins for a day trip are usually sorted out the night before.

Just watching Rip Off Britain . They are talking about phone theft whereby the crims can access your bank account . It's all very good them saying that you should contact your bank as soon as possible . With the closure of banks on the high street they are making that more difficult !

Sunny intervals today with still a northerly cold wind.
Strange after me saying I had not seen a swallow for years there was one sitting on the phone wires opposite my house this morning. Only one so perhaps it's mate did not make it back.
Knee is a bit better this morning but still swollen so better rest it a bit longer. OTOH exercise may be good for it.
Got a whattsap message this morning from a random source which I have blocked.

I didn't see the incident, but from circuit commentary it was because the driver was in a bit of discomfort from a potential back injury once out of the car - they sent the doctor's car out in the middle of the pack without calling a safety car!

Good morning all from a cloudy Suffolk. The sun keeps trying to break through but the cloud's currently winning, while the trees the other side of the rail line are swaying quite a bit in the breeze. It's non-recycling bin day today, but as I have very little to not recycle I didn't bother putting the bin out.

Having had both days out this weekend, I suppose I'd better do some domestics and then see whether there's any afternoon left to have a bit of me time as it's back to work tomorrow.
