Cloudy early doors, but it's now a lovely sunny afternoon here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well, but still feel shorted on sleep. Spent the morning largely catching up with kitchen stuff and doing some puttering around. I am about to head out into the garden to putter about there too.
Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with pate, the other with chaource cheese - squishy, creamy and tangy. Just fabulous. Plus a pear, some pineapple, some blueberries and two

Quite probably, but I suspect the cost and delay of customs and associated paperwork is proving more than is worthwhile: there are other products available from Germany and neighbouring countries and they're appearing on our suppliers website.

Lovely Looks rustic
It takes me back to my secondary school days We had a natural history group,actually it was more about bird watching We had an island on a backwater of the River Soar We had a hide and the small island seemed to be an attraction to wildlife Several of my fellow pupils would spend most Saturdays setting up bird feeders and nest boxes
Happy days I often wonder if it still exists Doubt it has street cred😁😁😁

Oh dear We had a kamikaze sparrow hit the patio window this morning.It survived the initial impact but died a few minutes later.🥲🥲🥲
Today feels like a long day started out with dealing with 4 different chemistry papers, each with two level. The coloured exams papers with pagers missing. A staff member who flaps around double and triple checking every thing. Let you get on with stuff to only then do it all again after you've already done it. 4 last minute tier changers not told about. One student walking out early with other early finishers. Then the electronic clock decided to start going two minutes fast for the last hour.
No wonder this afternoon felt like it dragged on and we only had one paper and 70 students to bother about.
Just had a nice late afternoon dog walk to realx before I start the house work back log.

is your bird feeder within 10 feet of the house? someone once told me, I had to move my bird feeder more than 10 ft from the house, to avoid collisions like that. I didn't believe it, so I'm just passing it on, in case you want to look into it. my birds just attack my security camera ... ;-)

Nice mostly sunny day so sowed some wildflower seeds.
I have a model but very lifelike owl which I tied to the top of a post overlooking the patch with the seeds so hopefully it my frighten the pesky house sparrows until the seeds germinate. I unwisely dumped my netting thinking it would never be needed again.
Saw a GP about my dodgy knee this afternoon and after a thorough going over it seems nothing too serious and he gave me a prescription for iboprofen gel and some other advice.
Stopped at pharmacy on the way home and someone was reversing into the only blue badge space left. The others were occupied long term by tourists. There should be a time limit here as the intention is to allow parking for collection of medication. There was no blue badge to be seen so I kindly remarked in passing not to forget to put it on display. “ forgot to bring it” was the answer ie “don’t have one.”
Heard that excuse before and it annoys me that they think it ok to misuse this parking space.
Complete b—-s up at the pharmacy. Got one item I did not ask for and two others which I did ask for are missing. No idea whether it is the new pharmacist or the surgery to blame but hope to get it sorted tomorrow.
