Managed a gentle 20k whilst the management wasn't looking.
Saw 3 cars. 2 pollock's and a cyclist in a van.

And it didn't rain.

This evening I went grasstrack racing at Roundhay. It was a bit chilly.

This photo, taken at some point before 2023, shows that it's been going since the 1890's: The crowds were a bit smaller this evening.

It looked like a youngster. The bird feeders are about 15ft away from the house.
Occasionally get birds hitting the front windows No bird feeders at the front.Strange

I almost hit a young sparrow that darted out of long grass to get to the other side of the path a couple of days ago. Luckily, I was going uphill rather sedately at the time so no contact. Youngsters' sense of danger is simply not yet well developed at that stage. (I used to live in a house that had big windows and a view through. We had a few stunned pigeons which had tried to fly through the house.)

While ordering for the bike workshop I looked up WD 40, as supplies have been intermittent for a while and I try to keep a pre-order in.

No WD40 products are available any more.

Dog walked he had the company if a female black bird for most of it. Plenty of bird song around too. Spotted the female sparrowhawk again near home on a neighbours roof. Eyeing up a group of birds flying round. Looked to have lost interest and went flying down the street.

Now time for 2rd of the morning. Before putting the washing out and sounds like the bins just been emptied. So that needs bringing in.

Yellow Skoda convertible didn't get touched yesterday I wonder if the shovel engineers will be back today as they didn't show yesterday after working all weekend
